Your Netcomm NF20MESH modem router has been pre-configured by YLess4U for easy plug-and-play setup with your VDSL service. This high-performance Wi-Fi 6 device provides reliable connectivity and supports mesh expansion. Getting online is quick and simple - just follow the steps below.

What's in the Box

Before you begin, ensure you have:

  • Netcomm NF20MESH modem router
  • Power adapter
  • DSL cable (grey phone cable)
  • Wi-Fi Security Card (with your network name and password)

Step 1: Connect the DSL Cable

  1. Locate the GREY DSL port on the back of the NF20MESH
  2. Connect one end of the DSL cable (grey phone cable) to the GREY DSL port
  3. Connect the other end to your active phone wall socket designated for VDSL service

💡 Important: Make sure you're using the phone socket that your VDSL service is activated on.

Step 2: Power Up the Device

  1. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet
  2. Connect the power adapter to the NF20MESH
  3. Press the power button on the side of the device to turn it on
  4. Wait 2-5 minutes for the device to synchronize with the VDSL network and connect to the internet

LED Indicator Guide:

  • DSL Light Flashing: DSL synchronization in progress (wait a few minutes)
  • DSL Light Solid: DSL connection established ✓
  • Internet Light Solid: Successfully connected to the internet ✓
  • DSL Light Off: DSL connection failed or cable disconnected (check your connections)

Step 3: Connect to Your Wi-Fi Network

Find Your Wi-Fi Credentials

Your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password are printed on the Wi-Fi Security Card included in the box, or on a sticker on the bottom of the device.

Connect Your Devices

  1. On your computer, smartphone, or tablet, open the Wi-Fi settings
  2. Look for the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) from your Wi-Fi Security Card
  3. Select the network and enter the password when prompted
  4. You're connected!

💡 Tip: You can scan the QR code on the Wi-Fi Security Card for quick connection on compatible devices.

Optional: Customise Your Wi-Fi Settings

For enhanced security, we recommend changing your Wi-Fi network name and password:

  1. Connect to your NF20MESH Wi-Fi network
  2. Open a web browser and go to 192.168.20.1
  3. Log in with:
    • Username: admin
    • Password: Found on the sticker on the bottom of your device (under "Gateway Login Page")
  4. Follow the Quick Start Wizard to customise your settings

Troubleshooting

No Internet Connection?

  • Verify the DSL cable is securely connected to both the modem and the wall socket
  • Ensure you're using the correct phone socket (the one your VDSL service is activated on)
  • Wait up to 5 minutes for the DSL light to become solid
  • Check that both the DSL and Internet lights are solid green
  • Restart the device by unplugging the power, waiting 30 seconds, and plugging it back in

DSL Light Won't Turn Solid?

  • Double-check the DSL cable is firmly connected at both ends
  • Try a different DSL cable if available
  • Ensure your VDSL service has been activated by YLess4U

Can't Find Your Wi-Fi Network?

  • Ensure the device is powered on
